Langevin, originally founded in the early 1940s, became well-known for its high-quality audio components and consoles. The company was a prominent manufacturer of professional audio equipment, including preamplifiers, equalizers, and mixing consoles. Langevin products were widely used in recording studios and broadcasting due to their robust design and superior sound quality. In the 1990s, Manley Laboratories acquired the Langevin brand, continuing to produce some of its classic designs with modern updates.
